THE SEARCH FOR OUTSTANDING PWD IN MINDANAO 2015

In Celebration of the 37th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week

The search is on for the Outstanding Person With Disability (PWD) in Mindanao!

The search aims to tell the stories of each PWD who makes outstanding works in their chosen field and who serves as a role model to other PWDs and to the community. This is done to commend PWDs who rise above life’s challenges and still take a positive outlook in life. Also, this is to acknowledge those PWDs who are advocating and making a significant impact in the society.

In celebration of the 37th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week (NDPR), this event will take place on the 17th of July, 2015 – 4pm at SM city Davao Annex. Behind the Rolling Chair for the first time will be partnering with BBMC Project SELP Davao in initiating this event whose objective is to reduce exclusion of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) in the Philippines through improved access to gainful opportunities.
